Volunteering in action, serving warms people's hearts. On June 15, 2023, the Xiamen Yingxin Electric Volunteer Service Team and Tong'an Tongxin Social Work Center jointly launched a public welfare activity called "Micro renovation of Power Lines" for orphaned and impoverished families. They visited Xiyuan Village in Tong'an, Xiamen to inspect the electricity consumption of elderly people and impoverished families, repair their aging and damaged power lines, and transmit positive energy to society through practical actions.

After arriving at Xiyuan Village, volunteers from the Yingxin Electric Volunteer Service Team immediately went to multiple households in need to inspect the old power lines. They found that there were problems with the unreasonable position of the light switch, the switch falling off, and some wires hanging in the air and exposed to the outside without fuses.

In response to these situations, volunteers from Yingxin Electric immediately developed targeted rectification plans. After confirming the power outage in the entire house, members of the volunteer service team inspected the wiring of the old lines on site, sorted out the wires hanging in the air, and replaced the damaged and old lines in the elderly person's home. After replacing the old and worn-out patch boards and wall switches, they adjusted the light switch to a reasonable position and installed new light bulbs for the elderly person, eliminating multiple electrical safety hazards and ensuring future electrical safety.

After the renovation by volunteer service team members, the old and dangerous electrical lines in the elderly's home have been replaced by new and safe wires. Before leaving, the volunteer service team members also educated the elderly about electricity safety and reminded them to pay attention to electricity safety.

The "Line · Micro Transformation" for this isolated and impoverished family helped solve their electricity safety problems, allowing them to truly feel the care and warmth from society. Next, the Xiamen Yingxin Electric Volunteer Service Team will continue to carry out volunteer service activities for circuit rectification, providing practical assistance to the disadvantaged families in Tong'an District, effectively preventing various safety accidents caused by electricity use, and promoting the sustained stability of social safety production situation.
