This activity invited some families of minors from Fengling Community to go to the Houxi Dragon Kiln in Xiangping Street to learn about the history of Tong'an's ancient ceramics, experience the charm of traditional ceramic culture, and establish confidence in national traditional culture.

This event arranged for the Dragon Kiln teacher to conduct on-site science popularization on the historical knowledge of Tong'an Dragon Kiln culture. The Dragon Kiln teacher explained that the Dragon Kiln is built on the mountain, like a long dragon lying on a hillside. It is a unique form of pottery kiln in southern China, which has lasted for 200 years and adheres to the use of primitive handicrafts to preserve traditional pottery making techniques. The dragon kilns in this area belong to the kiln group, which is built by 5 dragon kilns. Among them, 4 dragon kilns have a kiln body length of over 70m, making it the longest, largest, and most well preserved dragon kiln group in China. It is also the longest and only surviving dragon kiln in Fujian Province.

With the guidance of Teacher Longyao and the help of the Welcome Volunteer Team, each child fell silent in their own DIY pottery fun.
